a Very Sweet Anime-music-video!

I'm really having high hopes for this anime. Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya seems like a funny and well done animation. And today I found a great music video involving the series.
So I would like to chare it with others.
The music: 4ever by The Veronicas.
Check it out now!

FFVII: Voices of the Lifestream

If you love Final Fantasy VII and it's music, then you really should give the remixes a try. In my opinion some of the songs are even better than the original. It's even hard to imagine that this can be free stuff. But, after all... these artists never paid for a license in the begining. But no FFVII fan should miss this opportunity - so check out this site now:

Hiya everyone!
(No response........)

Oh whatever. No one reads this. But I love to try keeping my english as fresh as it can get. Anyway, here's my new super-duper-mega-ultra-awsome-WISH LIST!
There really is a lot of manga and anime I would like to get right now but... I have to save my money under the summer. So I'll have to wait before the hot days are over (the summer vacation).

---Most wanted Manga right now---

I reallt liked the story of the first volume. A boy who gets transformed into a girl - and gets everything including what it means to be a woman... or maybe not?

I bought my first 2 volumes for a long time ago. The pockets even costed me 20kr more than todays does. The manga really are weird, that's why I really like it. Hail Il Palazzo!

I love the drawings and the character design. But the story is a bit... different. I don't know why but... I really like the manga even if I don't get everything (like the magical word battles).

The story and drawings are cute and "friendly". And that's enought for me to want this manga.

I feel that the story only have started in this special manga. I want to read on!

---Most wanted Anime right now---

It's a school comedy that seems to have everything needed to have some fun.

I made a short review in my blog before. And I still want to buy it.

I read that this anime would be translated to Swedish. It's about some dark future, with robots and a girl. I saw the first episode and liked the style a lot. Reminded me of Final fantasy VII.

I already got the first DVD. Now I want the complete collectors edition.

Got the 3 manga volumes. And I've already watched the first DVD. Time to finish the story.

The MeLissa manga is finished!

It've been finished for some time now but... I just wanted to make an announcement about it. April the 29th I posted it in, 2 days before the deadline of Mangatalangen 2007. So right now I'm just waiting for the result. I only know that sometime in september it will be published in the pocket edition.

The picture to the right is a preview of my finished manga.

I really hope that I'll be one of the 3 winners, so that I'll earn some money. What would I do with the money you may ask? I would buy new manga of course! Hahahaa! Seriously! And I would also buy some new anime boxes (I've waited too long since I last bought any). New clothes would be very sweet to buy aswell. Not because I only have old ones, but because I would like to buy a bit more expensive clothes. :P

However... I would like to create my own pocket there I explain how I created MeLissa. With tutorials and "behind the scene" documents. Oh well... wish me luck!

Anime Review: Kurau Phantom Memory

This is a review of the first anime episode of Kurau. You should actually watch all the episodes of an anime before you write an review, to be able give it a fair review. But I really liked this very first episode. You don't allways need to see the end. Even if this first episode was the only one, I would still like it.

So, what makes me like this anime? From the begining when I just read about it; a girl who gets some alien inside her and gets super human powers - wasn't that interesting. But there is a lot more to get. I really liked the characters, specially the main characters Kurau and her dad, Dr. Amami So, and their relationship. The feelings are strong and touching, especially when the dad realizes he might have lost his own daughter forever.

The studio who made this anime have also made Rahxephon and Fullmetal Alchemist. Which means not much of great colors and shadows, but instead aswome animations! And there is no fan service so far (there's too much of it out there in anime series). So I'm going to buy Kurau Phantom Memory as soon it gets released in an Anime DVD BOX with all episodes.

If you also are intrested to watch the first episode, go here:

Rappelz - Free MMORPG

Have you got nothing to do? And you're out of money? But still would like to get your hands on a game? Then I think you should try out Rappelz. It's a totally free MMORPG without any limitations.

Rappelz allows you to create your own character, run around together with other players, beat monsters, gain exp and new equipment. And after some few hours trying it out - I would say it's a very sweet little game since it's free.

But isn't there any bad at all? Well... it lags a bit when other characters are around, and it lags A LOT when your in a city. And it's not that much to do; you fight and gets stronger. The fighting thou is okay and will satisfy most players for some hours. Another irritating thing is the looong waiting for your health to regenerate. And it's not much design variation of each equipment.

But in total... the game gives a much without any payment whatsoever.
You can get the game thou this link:

Too good to be true?

Today I found a website called "PSP blender" - they offer over 100.000 different files, like games, videos and more for ONLY $37.00!! And it's all you have to pay whatsoever. My first thought was... how can this be legal? Well... the fact is... you are not a legal person by using their offer. But when you read at their site it says:

"PSP Blender is 100% legal as we do not condone the illegal downloading of copyrighted material."

Well... PSP Blender might be a bit legal, because... they only give you links. Links to torrents that uploads PSP games (which is completely illegal) - in other words, you pay PSP Blender for giving you links. And also... have this in mind; why wouldn't Sony themselves be doing this if it actually was legal? And really... how could it be possible to get so MUCH for so LITTLE? And why paying them in the first place - when you already can get access to the torrents without paying? So PSP Blender are some pretty smart guys - by making a well done website, making people blindly belive in their stuff, giving links - and gets payed by it. A very low thing thou...

I would really like to use their offer, it would be nice to download Final Fantasy VII and much more for my sweet PSP. But I want my PSP to be pure. So that's why I'm still going to wait for Sony to make their move, and release the games I want.

However... I found a nice PSP-wallpaper site today, with HQ pictures, easy to download. It makes me wonder if these pictures are uploaded legal. Well... this time I still saved some of the pictures. Even if you don't have a PSP, these pictures are worth a look.

Now it's drawing near. I've finished my manga research. Now it's time for my new, own, original manga - Melissa. I'm making it for the Swedish contest "Mangatalangen 2007". The story is finished. I've started creating the storyboard (hopefully finished today) and the logotype is now finished aswell.

The story is about the two sisters, Melissa and Ana Inokuchi. The year is 2184 and mankind is about to be erased. Humans are now trying all they can to save the last human lives. In one of the projects Melissa offers herself to help. The result made her to the ultimate human - stronger, faster, smarter, and for some reason she gets a tail and cat ears. But will it be enought to save mankind?

Tomorrow I'll start making the first of 15 pages. A short/long manga? It can be discussed. My goal is to create my best manga ever so far and try to tell as much of a story that can be told within these pages.

Look foward for the result!

Manga Review: Kashimashi

Have you ever thought about; how it would be if you almost got killed by aliens and your sex changed? Well... that's what happened to the boy named Hazumu.

Kashimashi is a funny and interesting manga that tells the story about a boy that one day turns into a girl. Now Hazumu has to learn to act more like a girl and change clothes and outfit. But how about love...? Yasuna is the girl that first rejected Hazumu's love for her, but now when he's a boy things changes. And his childhood friend Tomari - she who allways have protected him - isn’t sure either about the feelings anymore.

Personally this is my latest favourite manga. It's an interesting story, cute character design, and well drawn (without any fan service). That's why I'm going to continue reading Kashimashi.

The research is finished!

Finally, after five weeks I've completed the research about:
Swedish published Manga within a gender perspective.
There is still some details that will be changed before I'll put it online. And I've more or less confirmed that my research is the first one ever studding manga in my country.
The main result are about how shôjo and shônen is pretty the same at many aspect from a genderperspective. But it's also a complex content. The biggest difference is the genre.

I hope my article will inspire more people about doing research about manga and its' surroundings.
